Our ‘Building Champions’ clinics span across Greece, Spain and Turkey, hosts to multiple prestigious regattas, including the 2025 Optimist European Championship.

Renowned for some of the best and most diverse sailing conditions in the world, they provide excellent training grounds for sailors looking to sharpen their skills.

Our clinics are open to sailors worldwide and designed for anyone with the drive to improve. No matter where you start, your commitment to learning matters.

We’re here to Build Champions, refine techniques, race strategies, mental toughness and other ingredients needed to excel and elevate your sailing.

Our Coaches

All results are based on either full time coaching the sailors / coaching the sailors at the event.

Fernando ‘Happy’ Alegre, Peru 🇵🇪

Since 1998, has been coaching successful teams and top athletes at the highest level in the Junior, Youth and Olympic level. His coaching philosophy is athlete centred and his approach is to train to detail the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspect. His method has proven that his sailors peak when they have to.

Julian Viciano, Spain 🇪🇸

A passionate Spanish sailing coach with over 20 years of experience, Specializing in Optimist and Laser classes, Julian has dedicated his career to developing young sailors’ skills and fostering a love and excellence for the sport. Julian is a seasoned coach with multiple international outings and successes including podium finishes at the European Championships and championing the prestigious ROC Kosmos regatta. Julian’s enthusiasm and expertise make him a sought-after mentor in the sailing community, inspiring athletes to achieve their full potential on and off the water.

Antonis Drosopoulos, Greece 🇬🇷

A highly respected individual who’s a dedicated Optimist sailing coach and enthusiast with a deep passion for sailing and coaching across all skill levels. Having been the Swiss National coach and currently the Greek National coach, his expertise and commitment have led to remarkable success, including coaching two world champions and three times in a row European Champion. Antonis’ enthusiasm and attention to detail inspire sailors to excel while fostering a lifelong love for the sport.

Alican Selcik, Turkey 🇹🇷

The National Turkish Sailing Coach, Alican, is known for his relentless drive and dedication to the sport. With a proven track record of international success, he has led athletes to podium finishes at both the European Championships and on the world stage. Alican’s strategic approach and passion for excellence make him a key figure in advancing Turkish sailing on the global map. His unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and pushing boundaries has cemented his reputation as one of Turkey’s most influential sailing coaches.

Griselda Khng OLY, Singapore 🇸🇬

An accomplished Olympian and World Champion whose sailing journey began with an Optimist World Championship title. She continued her stellar career by earning a Youth Worlds medal in the 420 class and representing her country at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Today, Griselda owns a sailing business, The Beach Bum Tribe, while coaching elite athletes globally. Her expertise, shaped by years of international competition, inspires sailors to reach their highest potential in the Junior, Youth and Olympic classes.
